Technology and Connectivity

Technology and Support

In order for Distance Learning to be effective, students must have access to a device with a web browser and Internet access.  Windows, Apple MacOS, iOS or Google Chrome devices are supported for distance learning.

  • In addition to the ongoing 1:1 program, Bay Shore School 黑料网 has made Chromebooks available to any students in households without access to an appropriate device for distance learning.

  • All 黑料网 issued Chromebooks are filtered for content whether on public or private networks.

  • Parents and students should contact the Bay Shore Technology Department to request a device or to report hardware issues related to a school issued device by sending an email to: chromebook@bayshoreschools.org

  • Students should contact their teacher for any questions related to classwork or the digital platform being utilized (e.g., Google Classroom, Google Meet, Seesaw, Nearpod, and i-Ready).
