FOOTBALL OBJECTIVES:

Psychomotor:

Students will demonstrate:

  • proper forward pass technique
  • proper receiving technique
  • proper snapping technique
  • proper punting technique
  • proper cutting technique

Cognitive:

The students will be able to:

  • implement offensive and defensive strategies into game play (offensive patterns)
  • identify specific positions and understand the roles and responsibilities of those positions
  • understand basic rules (line of scrimmage, scoring, downs)
  • distinguish the various careers in football

Affective:

The students will be able to:

  • communicate with peers in a positive and productive manner
  • exhibit leadership
  • understand importance of followership
  • demonstrate accountability for responsibilities to their peers
